6) Get a haircut
7) Lose 10 lbs (6 down, 4 to go)
8) Write thank you notes (x)
9) Buy a present for my prospective roomie?

I can help you out with how to say Diet Coke in Chinese:
健怡可口可乐 or 健怡可乐 for short
Those first two characters: jian4 yi2, which roughly translated means "Healthy Happy (Coca)cola"
And the Diet Coke in China tastes way better than in the States and I honestly don't know why.
